Try insuring a Sprint for anywhere near what they are worth :(
Just Cars for now, at an awesome 11k agreed value, for 1500 a year.

I've tried shannons 3 times, each time I've had a different reason for refusing to even quote me.
1st time, when I first got it, old lady tried to insure it under her name, they said she should try someone else, didn't even want to know her.
2nd time, I tried to get a quote over the phone, I was 20, he said car was on banned list for Victorian P Platers (true). Then tried to tell me 11k was a good agreed value anyway, spun a bullshit story to me about how some chick in the office had a BF who couldn't sell his "immaculate" Sprint for 7k.
3rd time, this is recent, they wanted to know what previous driving experience I've had, if I held a CAMS license.
Said they wouldn't cover me, that I needed 5 years previous driving experience. So when I'm 23 I should be right

They'll have made up a new reason by then.
