Gas motorsport doing a new barra drag car...

Postby EBT04Z » February 12th, 2010, 1:55 am

Called into Gas motorsport and found out that Gas motorsport is doing a Barra Ba falcon drag car trying to go for a mid to low 6 sec car, they want to make the same if not more power than there 2jz 2000hp+. There started to make custom parts all ready like solid roller rockers, custom rods, billet main caps and billet cranks. Didn't tell me a price but you would be looking at big $$$ tho. Would be one to look out for
Good turbo for falcon and not at bad price i thought is s300sx 66mm compressor wheel and 0.88AR exhaust housing ( Capable of 800hp, Equal to T04Z) http://www.businessvision.net/Edge/Main ... egoryID=76 should spool nice for street car or the s400sx 71mm compressor wheel (capable of 950hp, Equal to GT4202) http://www.businessvision.net/Edge/Main ... egoryID=76 for street/strip car. Both t4 flange...

Some of there parts...

There mechanise is unreal there, just art. He did 1 port of my old mans 1UZ head for the project car that we building and made it flow 312 cfm. The old man spent more on 1 port than what most ppl would spend on there whole heads. Than got that 1 ported Cyl dignities and CNC. Its not just the size you want its flow.

I don't have any pics of the ports chambers,

CNCing shit is the bomb!

its about time someone went down this path with the falcon engine. will be very interesting to see the results.

Its not a falcon head, its a 1UZFE 4ltr v8 32 valve out of a Toyota Soarer, It worked out cheaper for Gas motorsport to machine 1cylinder, than get it digitise to be CNC'ed.
CNC job is only as good as the program you put in it. That's why we got a pro to do 1 Cly than Copy it and do the other cylinders. The best thing about CNC is that all the ports flow all the same and it look good.

U can also get the S300sx in 0.91 exhaust and these are eqivilent to the T04z but S300sx flows more cfm

Gas motorsprts charge an arm and a leg for all there gear but they have proven results at the end of the day
Wanted Either Capri/Cortina/XY/XW/XR/XT with tough V8 stroker engine, auto, 9inch, upgraded brakes etc

Yeah they do charge and arm and leg, Its probably better to get straight from the U.S if the dollar is good. When the dollar was good we brought S475 for $800 delivered but that's with TV (T6) flange and a 1.32 AR exhaust. If you want to go to a T4 flange and a smaller AR you would have to add $500 more. Got it from Paradise Racing there Puerto Rico's, they have a celica like Gas motorsport but with a 2RZ came out of Toyota High ace van with 3RZ head. I thought they were shit motors but they can take alot of boost tho, put 60psi in any motor that can hold together would make shit load of power. Does 7.2sec @ 192mile on 1/4mile...
There site, http://paradiseracing.com/Store/

Paradise Racing 7.2 secs,

The Yanks would call that turbo a S375 because it has a T4 flange. The S475 came standard with a T6 (TV) flange and 1.32AR with 96mm exhaust wheel that's why there the cheapest so they charge you more to go smaller AR.

S475 off eBay for $625 US,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genuine- ... ccessories

We payed abit cheap than that and the Aussie dollar was good against the US dollar.

I wouldnt pay that much for a Borg Warner bullseye turbo unless it from Mr turbo or Billet turbos and there basically a Borg Warner Bullseye turbo with added ball bearing system to them...

I wouldnt buy a Bullseye turbo unless im looking for a unique combination for a Borgwarner based turbo and man u carnt go wrong with BG turbo from factory.

I dont know much about the MR turbo units as it dosent say much on there website other than bearing system but nothing much on turbines and so on

GCG Turbo's is the Australian distributor but u can potentially save uptp $700.00 if u get them from the US from any of there distributors.

The S400 comes in 71, 75 & 80mm comp wheels which flow super well and great value for money
