Tint looks great... sets it off nice.
I have 18 percent on mine, too dark at night really about dimly lit streets. I have to put my window down to see people and bikes and stuff.
5 percent is basically limo tint.

no dont, it is far too busy and looks gay. this car with some nice wheels and some dumpage will look mint, plus whatever is bolted on under the bonnet.

I wouldnt go to the extent of the body kit, but the style of the wheels and the stance is insane, definitly shows the potential of the B-series fairlanes. I especially love the chrome garnish under the headlights.

it'll just be plain...simple...clean, & all going to plan enough poke under the bonnet to keep a few guy's on the hwy honest

a small update, with the AFF drag meet yesterday i got my finger out & did the intake pipe (i've had the part's for week's) :?
it's a 3.5" stainless pipe (should polish up well) & some joiner's i got from a truck bit's place....
thanks to kev "schmee" for info on the place :good:

Image

i just put on a breather i had left over from my 5l part's.

Image

how it looks...i've alot of room on the pipe & will shorten the rubber on the airbox side.

Image

i'll have to notch out the cover where the breather is for the cover to sit flat, or plumb in the factory breather to the new pipe.

then i put the intake pipe on & did a best of 14.95@96.36 mph :yahoo:

there should be a bigger gain once the header's & exhaust go on.

it has no prob's with burnout's at all.... that pic was at the start of the burnout on my last pass for the night.
as for the centre cap's..... calder yes, at heathcote no.... you can leave them on, there so relaxed up there.
the back's are off as i had one cap ripped off & the other half ripped off at f/gate shopping centre the other week....
i took them all off (as i did'nt want any more stolen) :glare:
i only put the front's back on for the drag's for photo opp's , as now there off all the time.
& i'm not paying another $88 each for a bit of plastic to be ripped off again :glare:
i'll be entering the AFF nat's in july with the car & should have at least the exhaust done by then...
so the et's will drop again

i got the header's today, difilippo 4 into 1's.

the car is booked to get the system done next week, the hi-flo metal cat's should be here in a day or two.... the muffler's i'm still unsure what to put on ?
other mod's will be done over the w/end (depending on part's turning up).
