depends if your running a screamer :P
2.5" exhaust + screamer = larger exhaust

Rollin made 307rwkw on the Hi-Power Dyno with a 6Boost manifold, T04Z and a 3" zorst on 15psi, also had massive fukk off cam and a ported head I think. He made 317rwkw with a 3.5" zorst, on the Hi-Torque Dyno, on 14psi IIRC. Also, stock EB/D MPFI Log inlet.

The 2.5 will not allow enough exhaust flow for anywhere near 300rwkw, It's like trying to run 100rwkw through a 1" pipe.

Also that is a completely different setup to mine for starters his turbo is alot smaller then mine. But I still dont disagree with you the exhaust will be a problem but I still think around 300rw is achievable through that exhaust. Well I will find out anyway. If not wait for the thread 3inch exhaust needed asap

Actually now I think about it would a to small of exhaust make your boost curve flatten right out when you hit boost? Cause ever since I have put the new motor in it has had a real flat boost curve like it will go to take off but then just flatten right out. You might be on to something 67rce. :good:

I didn't even think about the exhaust I just put it down do needing a new tune with the new motor.

What turbo do you have?? Snorts site states the stage 4 kit comes with 35/40. If this is the case your turbo is infact alot smaller than rollins.

No mine is one from one of the older kits I know mine is bigger than a t04z because when I brought mine the to4z was in the kit under mine. My turbo is a KKK 600 or 650 I think that's what it was was along time ago now.

Well looks like I should do some research before I post things.
Not sure which turbo I was thinking of but from my research a t04z is bigger then mine.

Gee 307rwkw's ain't much from a turbo that size.

Yeah T04z is bigger mate.
I dont think you will crack 300rwkw with that exhaust. Like 67rice said, way too restricted. With your setup I wouldn't want much more then 230rwkw with that T5!! Your gonna smash it, especially if you have a heavy duty ceramic style clutch.

If you had a 3.5inch exhaust i'd be saying you would be making 300rwkw+ on 15psi

Yeah not to worried about the gearbox it was one I pulled out of a race car I am just interested to see how much it handles I still have the one I pulled out of the car just in case I do smash it. Then it will be TKO or T56 time.

I recon 230rwkw btw.

With a small exhaust the power will stay flattish with boost levels but the torque will increase.

Ok so a bit of an update with a few set backs had all the pipes blow of the plenum first then they couldn't figure out what was going wrong with the power and figured out I had a blocked cat so while it was there I told them to put on a full 3 inch they told me they were gunna do the whole exhaust for $550 :yahoo:

So now what are your guesses on power.

Yeah I don't even know what psi I am gunna be running I would say 10-12 psi.

Also I had to put a rising rate reg in as the fuel pressure was dropping when they started putting power into her not sure what rating it is tho.

Rollin made 270 on 11psi with his small helicopter turbo, ported head and massive fukk off cam. Around the 270rwkw mark will be my guess, also, why the rising rate? What injectors are you using?

Using 55lb siemens deka's I didn't think I would need one but they said the fuel pressure keep't dropping when they wound the boost up so I dunno.
