shouldnt have those bonnet pins, doesnt suit an excel :P

its one thing getting the engine in, but fitting VN driveline including front suspension is nuts lol
kinda like that AU abortion, but this one that turned out in favour of the owner.

EF bottom end with ported EB head, valve springs, EL ECU & J3 chip, crane HI6 CDI & MSD coil, LC-1 wideband & SSI-4 logger

soon - .595" lift cam, GT4202, forged AU engine and built head, ems stinger 4424 ecu, powerglide with 5500 high stall etc - next, bellhousing

XH ute daily - DOHC BA XR6 engine, T5, AU3 ECU with TI J3 chip, ported BBM, 3" stainless intake - 12" sub, tub liner and hard lid - mass skids and epic tyre carrying capabilities :)

God damn, running 9psi it has 225rwkW AND 560nM of TORQUE!! In a car that small and light, would be almost undrivable! Have a look at hole he had to hack into the firewall! Personally I would have chosen something that started life rwd, like an old Carolla or something, but thumbs up for effort anyway! Talk about sleeper spec!

the hole in the firewall isnt anything outragous.
he has turned a flat faced firewall into a standard rwd setup.
i thought he would have had to move the firewall back or at least box a large section for the engine to sit further back.
but the firewall looks like it wasnt bad at all.
fkn nuts lol

reminds me of the excel that had rull evo running gear fitted to it haha

would have been cool if he'd started with a registered car and kept it registered during the build.....im sure with how stock it looks youd get away with it for ages!
