I haven't changed tp LPG because it's just effort organising it all... ha. I wouldn't really have much more to spend my money on.

Do you guys really recommend doing it? Does it effect power at all and what would have to be changed to suit a conversion (ECU, anything like that)?

At least up there, you guys have different classes, 4/6/8 cyl, etc.
I get mine a little cheaper compared to people closer in the city. But mines still about $540 a year x 2 cars. There's a little difference in motor sizes, but hardly anything.

Dude, $540 a year is very cheap - that'll get you about 12 months worth on a 4 cylinder up here. For a 6 it's $620+ (depending on who your CTP insurer is) and I don't even want to think what an 8 is worth to register, I'm sure slo sprint has a small heart attack every time his rego is due!

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Your not wrong man i'd be cheering for $540 a year rego, the best part of $800 for a years rego for the XR8 plus the cost of triple bypass surgery.

Yep it works out about $100 a cylinder per year up here for cars. I'm only young but I had several heart bypasses when I had my V8 NC.

Yeah, try putting rego on three six cylinders, one four cylinder and a boat. Not much fun and then comes the insurance. 540 bucks for a full year is kick ass.

Ok, well that QLD transport website is fucked up then.

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) provides compensation for anyone injured or killed in a motor vehicle accident as a result of a driver's negligence. This includes the passengers in your car.

Two things of which you should be aware:

CTP covers you for injuring people, not for damage to cars or other property (which is covered under Comprehensive Motor or Third Party Property insurance).
Under Queensland Government legislation, the driver at-fault cannot claim compensation.

Compensation benefits can include:
Medical and rehabilitation expenses
Loss of income
Damages for any disability caused by the accident
Damages to immediate family in the event of death
Legal expenses

Ahh okay, so its the same as ours, just public liability included in the rego cost.
Is it NSW where third party property is included in rego?
It's kind of ridiculous the differences between all our laws and rules and shit, confusing as ****.

I don't really drive my EF much that's why it's not on gas, I drive my telstar to the station and anywhere else I need to go during the weekdays and drive the EF whenever I feel like going for a fang :D The telstar ain't too bad on fuel either so it's all good in the hood.
