if you wanted an interesting articl to do then do it on those few AIT EA turbo models that ford made. i know less about the turbo models than I do about the 5 speed EA

For a person that winged about getting the cruise in the magazine to turn around and not support the magazine's other issues is sad really.

Maybe we should only feature cars owned by actual readers going by that logic

When you earn as much money as I do, you cant afford it - I buy it when I do have spare cash though. Sorry for not sending myself broke.

I support the mag as much as I can, hence why I chose SF to publish it, not the other Ford mag.

Not rough just stating the facts...sure not everyone can buy the magazine as often as they probably like which is even more reason to subscribe to it as you would get it for about half the cost...

No, the point is we can't be here to support such events if we aren't supported ourselves. We need you way more than you need us, so to be effectively told that you'll only buy the issue that your coverage actually appears in is a little disheartening. What do we have to do to get you to read it for the rest of the year? And who is going to read about your event if everyone only buys the issue that their car or event is in?

i'd say, going by the amount of FS threads that have magazines for sale on here that most of us do support/buy your magazine... so you've definitely got our support... most of us don't buy it to see our cars in it, we buy it for inspiration..
all i was saying was you can't discriminate against someone after the work they have put in over a $9 magazine...

I don't think they're anything special, in fact I think it's quite poor on Ford's behalf that it was the sportiest Falcon you could buy at the time while the VL and VN Group A Commodores were flying the Aussie V8 flag on the track and on the streets. Nothing a V8 conversion and a pile of other mods won't fix though

That's exactly the feedback I got when we had our own Vic cruise a few years ago. For that reason, we always try to have a good mix of models in every issue. And hopefully my E series race car project gains/retains some interest from other E series enthusiasts.

I know how you feel, every time I go to a show people ask me if that show will be in the mag and when it will appear, and sometimes we just don't know for sure until it goes off to print (ie when it's too late to bump it to a later issue). Most issues will have an update of some sort (along with the forum updates). For example, 68 has the V8 wiring conversion and DIY J3 tuning, but you folks will already be buying that issue anyway
