Update...

Postby ultralowed » October 5th, 2007, 8:59 pm

Hey all!!! its about time i posted up in here...
just thought i put up a bit of an update after my accident.
well its almost been 6 months now since my accident, still not working and still cant drive which sucks.. the brain damage i recieved is going down slowly, i still have a lil bit of short term memory loss and i still got double vision but the doctors say that is clearing up which is good, i just had an eeg test at box hill hospital testing for epilepsy, havent got the results yet so im keen to get them back, im out of rehab now which is great. I got myself a project car to keep me from going crazy, just got a cheap 88 honda accord lx-i, picked it up for 1000$ already got stuck into the interior on it... new super plush black carpet, in the middle of painting the console and dash satin white, already done half the sound system. alpine 9881 headunit, fronts - pioneer seperate 2 ways and the rears are just fusion splits sounds pretty decent...
im still looking for an e series to do up so dont worry...

Cheers

Good to here things are starting to look up for you mate. I personally don't remember hearing of the accident but it sounds like it must have been pretty bad.

I hope you make as full a recovery as is possible.

Sounds like a pretty serious accident you had there. Any chance you could fill us in to what happened for those that might not be in the know (ie me :P). Glad to hear your recovering mate!

Shiiiiiiiit, I remember the AFF thread from ages back but mustn't have read the bit about brain damage. Jeez that must be frustrating, having to deal with short term memory loss (although you could use that to your advantage - "I'm sorry dear, I forgot it was my turn to cook tonight" ), but it sounds like you're recovering from that which is really good.

How's your pelvis going now, can you walk (thrust? ) with ease now?

Good to hear you're on the mend. Double vision can't be all that bad though can it - I mean you get four boobs for the price of two.

Will it be a sober Xmas / New Years for you? Or have you already reached the allowable piss-sinkage stage in your recovery?

Good to hear you're on the mend. Do you recon there will be mixed feelings when you start driving again? Since the accident was so bad and all.
