Postby swiftnomore » April 16th, 2010, 9:31 pm

Hi all, Im a south side of brisbane chick an Im new to ford. I went from haveing a 2009 swift. down graded to a 1997 el fairmont. That got very cheap. Here are a few pics.

There are a few little things that need fixing on it. Like the front insert on the bumper. an a speaker grill, an the light switch that i broke within a hour of getting the car.
Going to remove the mud flaps an add some darker tint as well as exhaust. An Also a bigger set of wheels. Maybe a new sound system. But has the factory stacker.

nothing was wrong with the swift. It was on 18s an $5grand worth of sound system in it. I sold off to make way for bills an for this car. Maybe lower it but nothing silly

Welcome. Definitely not a downgrade. It probably looks like it at first from the 90s styling, but these cars provide alot of enjoyment just the way they are. At least you won't get plastics slowly coming apart and faded taillights like equivalent Commo lol.

I'm sure you'll be right for most of those parts you need in the near future ;)

I'm wrecking a GLi at the moment so if the speaker grills are the same as the Fairmont ones I will have one for you. Dunno about the bumper insert, what do the Fairmont ones look like? Is it possible to put chrome tape over the top of a black one?

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Desire isn't driven by the heart, the mind or the wallet. Desire comes from another place. It's created by the smell of burnt fuel under full throttle and the look a car gives you when you're washing it alone at night...
