Tips for sleeper / family car?

Postby skinart » April 25th, 2010, 1:16 pm

Hey guys, just wondering what little thing you guys add to your car to help you fly under the radar a little? Im on a good behavior license so I wont have any points to spend again until January next year :(

The car is almost finished and im just adding a few things to make it look like a family car / sleeper ...

So far I have:

Bench seat, auto on the tree.
"I promise to drive safely" sticker.
"Baby on board" sign
Jesus fish
Baby capsule for back seat.
Stock rims with sexy kick on mag covers.

my brother added a cut off tennis ball onto the tow ball and some old rope .... but im thinking this is to much? I might dump the rope but keep the tennis ball.

Anyway if you guys have some good ideas let me know.

Nah, lose all that crap, just keep it stock looking, sleeper and abo-spec aren't the same thing ;-)

Just keep standard hubcaps, standard height, black cooler etc.

This is my last one, looked stock as and never got me in any trouble. Boost gauge was the only give away.

Sleepers are cool,But sometimes people go over board abit.
You can still have a sleeper without the gayness.

Just make it look standard to be a sleeper. Not overly lowered, Tickford height springs and standard ford wheels, whether it be steelies and hubcaps or any factory alloy that came out on EF's (Classics, EFXR, FTR's)

Yah im scraping all the stickers and shit off, after seeing Private9's car there aint no other slick looking neat car then factory look. The car is SO high! Its like it has a 4x4 package under it ... I just dont want any heat on me untill I get all my points back again. I dont really want to spend much more money on the car so I may just plasma a few coils off .... not sure how many coils yet though.

and yes Private I got the 3" exhaust ... did I buy it from you? I bought it from someone on here lol. Its just the rear section, I made the dump and crap myself.

As for the turbo ZX12R, after 350 rwhp on a bike all they do is smoke the tyre at 200+ kmh (on the street) with an extended swing arm or if ya leave a stock length arm on it they just wheelie, never been in a car with 2:1 I sure would love to feel it one day though! Thats prolly like a E series with 3000hp yum!

Yeah, that was my company mate with the exhaust!

Do you get numbed to that sort of insane power after a while? Even a quick car must feel slow to you!
