My STOKEB

Postby STOKEB » May 12th, 2010, 7:37 pm

Hi Guys how has everyone been, has anyone missed me lol. Well guys this is the story i thought i would try and stay away from cars and especially my falcon this only worked for 2 years. I got her running 2 days ago and I didnt believe that I would miss driving her dearly and its time that I bring STOKEB back to life again. I see everyone is going turbo and I think its my time to do the same. I was thinking 6boost, atomic, and B-Series stuff but not sure which way to go. Money isnt a issue I have $20000 just need some good advice and a trusting place to take STOKEB too. The car wont be street driven much so its all going to be for track. Head me in the correct direction people.

Mint as, will be good to see this car return! What do you mean by B-Series stuff? As in a DOHC conversion? What sort of power are you after? It's already got a C4 doesn't it? And 6BOOST+Atomic sounds good to me!

Welcome back Hus.

Bruce Heinrich in SA does cheap BA XR6T conversions. You would have to send the car over there but it would come back with at least 260rwkw. More if you ask him to add some boltons and a decent fuel system.

300rwkw isnt too much to ask from a mildly modified BA motor. Ask for a late BF2 engine and its good for nearly 400. You'd have heaps of change from $20k either way.

Pretty sure there's a F6 on the xr6 turbo forums making 800rwkw with a motor built by Atomic, they'd be the people to talk to, and with that much power i'd probably look into a powerglide or T400.

I would rather go with a T400 and not a powerglide to hard to drive on the street if I wanted to take the car out. Does anyone know how much power a C4/C10 can handle? When I got it built it was meant to hold a shit load of power but cant remeber its figures.

$12g sounds like a orsum price. I will be calling them today to get more info and prices.

Hus,

The c4/c10 can hold 2000hp if built correctly, The JMM spec box that you have is good for at least 500rwkw. Did you have a trans brake on yours? I cant remember. I will stop past one day and have a chat. Good to see you back dude!

JMM didnt build my box mate I got a mate who use to own Hi Tech Autos to do it for me. The only thing from JMM is the stall converter. I have the specs done to my box some where which i can not locate. I hate it when you move houses and everything goes missing grrrrr. Give me a call some time and we can all catch up 0405921459 I dont live in StAlbans any more I am up in Wyndham Vale which is Werribee
