You guys should do a multi page write-up on EA S Pack Multipoint 5 speeds.

It's becoming a rare classic! Should even make it a cover car.

I'm serious.

They're definitely under rated. People talk about how the EBII XR6 was quicker than the Aussie V8s like the XR8 and SS, but the EA S Pack 5 speeds were as quick as a VLTurbo and VN Calais V8.

He's right you know, i don't recall Wheels Magazine doing a 50 page exert on the AU/BA/FG like they did with the almightly EA.

Not a 50 page exert, but they went on and on about the BA for ages and talked it up a fair bit. I've lost most of my magazines from that era, but I recall detailed write ups about most aspects of the car. It also took out COTY The VY came out at pretty much exactly the same so both models dominated magazine coverage for months.

On the phase 1V, Leanne Tander is racing a '73 phase 1V XA GT in the Touring Car Masters series. Not sure, but I'd imagine it would be one of the originals and not a copy. Someone may know on here.
