Don't stress, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see the 2 step in action. First 2step action will be @ 5.05am 14th of April 2010 on Redland bay road, shits getting torn the fck up.

So this shitbox is still kicking around, I pretty much lost interest in it for a while since i didn't have a license and had better things to spend the cash on but now i've got my license back its on like donkey kong.

Long story short I bolted the motor back together last weekend with a steel head gasket, set of 8.5mm Tomei cams, greddy knock off plenum and a fair few other tasty bits to make it move. As it turns out the ebay knock off turbo manifolds are heaps heaps worse than i originally thought they were so i've got a 6Boost one on the way which i should see this week some time and i can bolt the turbo up and get the car running.

Then its a matter of doing some fuel lines, a new set of feet and coilovers then it can go off to the exhaust place for a new 3.5" system and some cooler piping. At this point im aiming to have this thing tuned and ready to hit the strip in early june and with some luck the motor might hold together till i can spray the fark out of it at powercruise.

No pics atm, just picture an rb25 without a turbo and a few n20 solenoids on top and your there :good:

Manifold turned up a little later than i hoped it would but i'm cool with that its a work of art, 6boost is the bomb. Its all together and running pretty decent besides some TPS issues but nothing exploded or fell apart so thats gotta be a good thing.

So heres pics (shit phone pics but you get the idea):

I've got some new coilovers and camber bars on the way as well as fuel system bits so i can set up my 044 and surge tank then its off to Exhaust Innovations to have some pipework done in the next few weeks with a bit of luck.

Bit more progress, new suspension gear is in aswell as the hicas lock bar iv'e had for over a year and never installed, Oil cooler and filter relocation kit is installed, fuel system is done and a few little other bits.

The bad news is somehow something has shorted and taken out my new ecu, i've sent it back to haltech to diagnose and repair and ill have to sort out the wiring on the car that caused it once i find out what went wrong. Thats basically the only thing holding me back from sending it off to the exhaust shop.

My ecu is back! Big thanks to the dudes at Haltech for sorting it out so quick, apparently it had the living **** cooked out of it somehow but due to the extent of the damage they couldn't tell what would of caused it so my next mission is to go through all the wiring tomorrow and make sure everything is sweet and it wont happen again. It'll simply be a matter of chucking my new tps on and getting all that sorted out and running a little better so it can go to the exhaust shop.

My latest impulse buy:

This car isn't sick enough yet... You need to step it up a bit sloman! What is next crazy addition on the list?

Besides a screamer pipe? Maybe wheels? will see how the funds go but i don't think there will be anything else hugely exciting till at least after Powercruise.

OED666 wrote:Very nice.. keen to see how this puppy goes once its all finished. :)

Thanks man, if its not a complete shitbox it should go okay.

In other news i went all sorts of crazy checking wiring and shiz to make sure my ecu doesn't pop again, couldn't find anything obvious that would have caused it but ive made a few changes so fingers crossed.

My new TB will be here this week and hopefully so will my new laptop so if i get some time (Which i won't, hardcore partying on the gold coast FTMFW!!!!! :yahoo: ) i'll get it running again next weekend but more likely the weekend after.
