Garage mods lolwtf.

Postby Rollin » May 21st, 2010, 6:52 pm

I just had a quick look in the garage for the first time, lolwtf.

A lot of people seem to be mentioning mods that aren't really worth mentioning - fer instance, a certain owner has mentioned hub adaptors as a seperate mod - WTF? Why not choose wheels that actually fit without them, and if you pick wheels that need them, you can't count that shit as an extra mod!

Surely the garage should list current mods only, not things like "yeah, I put a t5 in it, then I put an auto in, then another T5, then I broke it and put in another one so that's like.....4 mods, YEAH!!!!"

Should we have some guidelines as to what consitutes a 'mod' and some format for entering them, so it's not a massive ugly block of hard to read text spread with useless crap?

i think we need to turf the anonymous voting system.
how am i meant to cut people that rate my car low if i don't know who did it?
also its ripe for abuse, i mean if one of my cars was just out of the 'top rated vehicles' list, i might do something like rate every vehicle that is in the list low, so they drop out and mine gets raised up.

also i hid porn and a map to buried treasure in my mod list somewhere, see if you can find it.

I might put my car in there when I have the time. I'll need a lot I think, even just for the box.

Let me see..if I try really hard I can expand it quite a lot...

T56 from BF XR6
custom clutch pedal mounting bracket,
custom rear gearbox mount,
custom body mods for shifter,
custom position center console for shifter,
reverse lockout solenoid frequency switch,
custom speedo sender,
custom tailshaft,
custom gearbox wiring harness,
stiffened rear gearbox mount,
non-standard shift lever
replaced by BA GT shift lever
which was replaced by MGW short shifter,
oil change,
oil change,
oil change,
BA XR6T clutch,
Direct clutches clutch,
Mal Wood twin plate (splat  )
clutch fluid change,
clutch fluid change,
clutch fluid change.

22 mods just off the top of my head, only on the gearbox. YEAH I'M A FUCKING LEGEND BECAUSE I HAVE THE BIGGEST MODS LIST

Yeah they are.

I think the garage is supposed to be a bit of an overview, and if people see a carthey want to know more about they can then look at the build or show and shine thread for a more in depth list.
