The Primitive Rhythm Machine

Hi guys, I'm Tim and this is my EF GLi.
I've owned it since October 2007, and paid $1400 for it.
When I got it, it came complete with the "country pack" setup - tall springs, roo bar, ABS and cruise.

Mods so far include XR6-spec head, fuel reg and ECU, Pacemaker/Redback exhaust, custom CAI and 68mm TB, adjustable shift kit, trans cooler, 17" AU rims on hub adapters, Lovells ultralows up front and modified superlows in the back.

Plans include diff gears, J3 chip, hi-stall and cam, and a few more cosmetic touches here and there. I'd like to take it to the drags occasionally but there's a fair bit of compromise as it's my daily driver, so nothing too wild.

Some of you here might have seen me on other ford-related forums; just thought it was time to see what's going on here as this site comes highly recommended!

Cheers, Tim.

Theres still a higher portion of N/A 6's to turbo 6's.
no idea what the ratio would be though.

Looks like a nice tidy EF.

I'm curious to know the ratio too. Been a while since we've had a poll...

Ideally I'd go for a short-ratio Lokka, but my build really is prone to circumstantial variances, so like other parts of the build so far, it'll come down to whatever's available when I have the money. There's no secret that I'm on a tight budget so that's a big factor.

This project is finally at an end. I now have a new one - an EFII Fairmont Ghia which I got for $1000 with a stuffed motor. Engine is out, LPG conversion is gone, and the hunt is on for an AU motor to go in, which will get all the good gear from the Falcon.

It's one of those dodgy eBay scoops that doesn't fit right and requires modification to fit...
