Update on the wagon - gave the xr6 back to the dealer

Postby Ratchet » November 29th, 2007, 2:47 pm

FOr those that have read my other thread. I went to the original dealer of the xr6 and suggested he give me a refund due to him illegally selling a car to me.
Which he agreed to.
Have since picked up the wagon and its noice.
Will post some pics when I get it together.

I went to trade the xr6 into a dealer for the wagon.
found out from them it was a writeoff which was repaired and re-registered, which they did not inform me at the time of original purchase, which is illegal....
so i took it back and get my money back and bought the wagon, which was needed for a number of reasons. one being a larger family them before.

seems weird it was able to be registered at all.
if it was a repairable write off then it would need a VIV check, in which case that would have been picked up apon original rego.
very odd that it was able to be registered to start with.
either way good to see u got it sorted.

Not very good ones, but the first thing will be to lower it a little bit and see how it looks.

Thats what i thought as well, but they seemed to be able to do it.
besides I had my mechanic go over it and he came back with a quote of about 5k to fix it up to a good standard, so its their problem now not mine.
hahahahaha

wow dirty pricks that cut corners.....gotta hate em ay, oh well those wagons look sweet when had a few bits of eye candy added
for example: lower, XR rims look good, xr6/8 headlights, and see how the bumper looks if it shit stick the xr8 bumper oh an subbies in the back :D yummy
make sure u pump up the emo music :D lol jkz haha

oh and please dont put a turbo on a wagon, if u HAVE TO force induce it, but put a lower compression supercharger coz they are so gay with turbos

oh wait unless its spoz to be jus a family car :? in which case excuse my bullshit lol, jus go rims an heights lol
catcha round

No plans to force induce it, gonna leave it as is.
think just the rims and lowering will be done and thats it.

good to see it all worked out.... In the end you got apretty sweet deal though, used a car for however long then trade it back in for the price you originally paid..... You wouldve saved money on the depreciation of the car.....
