Putting in new speaekrs , How to pull out front speakers?

hey guys , got myself some new speakers to replace the blown up ford ones for the front (4")

how do i pull these mo fo's off ?? i cant figure it out.

undo screws around the door panel. pretty easy to see.
then the screws in the door handle and winder winder. pull them out
pull the door lock tab out.
push door skin up and out.
undo the 3 screws holding the speaker in and pull it out and unplug it.
pretty simple

does the door lock tab pull out by hand?? i dont want to go breaking anything

yeh just pull it hard.

it took a bit of grunting but it finally came off
ended up using a cloth and some pliers

yeh they can be hard to grab sometimes.
just remember when you put it back on.lock the doors (so you will need the window down. or sit in the car with door shut.
pull slide the white bit out from the knob that you pulled off. (comes out maby 5-10mm)
and then put it back in

yeh that might explain why the tabs are sticking up to high and the doors wouldnt lock last night
its no good installing new speakers when you cant lock your car
ill tackle that this arvo
