Need some opinions

Postby slo_sprint » December 2nd, 2007, 6:05 pm

The EB needs some dumpage ASAP and initally i was thinking Koni adjustables all around lows up front and super lows in the back but i have also toyed with the idea of superlows in the front and ultra lows in the back and now i can't decide.

So yeah which setup?, why? and if you have any other setups that could work please share.

(The rake towards the rear must stay)

Super lows all round, paired with koni's on all corners. Low but still functional... Otherwise go for pedders shocks to keep costs down a bit, four koni's will cost around $1000 on their own.

Mate, you know what everyone is going to say. Ultras all round :) Even Ultras in the back aren't low enough in my opinion.

Ha ha yeah i figured everyone would be tipping on dumping it all around but for some obscure reason i dig rear rakeage so thats what i will be going for that part is already decided.

After having koni's in my capri i have to have them again they were just awsome but i'm open to suggestions as i'm only wanting to do this once  .

Keep 'em coming though.

i have pedders sports ryders and kings lows in the front, and koni reds and kings ultralows in the back. very happy with that setup. i also have larger sway bars front and rear which helped.

Excellent, i have always loved how your ED sits so im pretty much sold on Ultras in the back and leaning towards super lows in the front.

Does anyone have the part numbers for front and rear Koni's?

You know it! might have even had a bit of burns style raspyness going on too.

I've been trying gtsuspension over the last week or so without any luck so i'll probably hit fulcrum up for some prices and part numbers in the next week or so.

Don't buy anything before I get you some prices on everything that's in OED's car minus the Koni's in the rear.

King Lows for the front and Ultras for the rear. Pedders shocks all round, lowered spring carrier in the front.
