what do you mean they arent cheap being genuine... they are the cheapest wheels you can get for the FG model..

i remember when FG came out they were $230ish per wheel excluding centre cap.

even the 17" xr wheels were 800 odd each or something...

but for some reason the G6ET wheels were like 230ish

want me to make a call and see if they are still cheap?

I'm not 100 percent sold on the 19inch G6ET wheels on a LWB. Friend has some on his dark blue Fairlane. There's too much bright alloy. But another guy has some on a slammed black BA XR and they look mint. I reckon the black wheels with some chrome dish is definatly the way to go ;)

the pic's look better than it is  the 'lane was a dark colour, so no more cleaning than i did on that ;)
the front & back bar i'll replace due to carpark scrape's etc, and the paint need's a cut & polish for now,
before a total respray after the mechanical side of thing's are done.

i wana hear it, like mine but you have back pressure :)

the cat back part is the same as "MrCVEs'" system (before the turbo went on) with 2 muffler's in the stock position's, in which with a tune he got 235rwkw from memory ?

Looks good.
Mine went 13.5 with that exhaust system. So with the tune it really should wake yours up.

a big thanks to barney at hallam performance for doing the system :drinks2:

i went in to chat to barney about a balance pipe yesterday,
only to be informed that the section he put in allready has an oval shaped balance port  ....
which explains the weld's between the pipe's.

i hope to have it on the dyno before the AFF drag meet to see what gains have been made from the latest mod's.

well with the exhaust now on & a couple of run's on the strip, i've gained .5 off my 1/4 mile pb time.
it's about where i thought it'd be, minus the wheel spin & limter hit issue's on a couple of pass's, it should go a tad quicker ? but are very happy with how it go's on a daily basis & have gained some extra km's per ltr per tank.
with a tune i'm sure it'll run alot sweeter on & off the track.

of the 7 run's i did, the cleanest and best run was the third run with a 14.48@99.65mph.
like josh (a fellow single spinner) it spun of the line a couple of time's,
and on a couple i late shifted and hit the limiter
i feel it could go 1 or 2 tenth's quicker ?
but it's where i thought it'd be, being it still has the stock tune.
i'll be running the steelie's at calder, so i dont expect the time's to drop....
i'll just be looking at working on my reaction time's and gear change's :geek:

not a bad time for the big unit!
atleast having 3.23 diff gears you should notice a good improvement going to 3.7s. they came out in 6 speed manual cars.. does yours run the small xr6 spec diff or the xr8/turbo diff?
Also you can't put 3.9s in BA's for some stupid reason :(
