About a year ago my skyline was regency defected about 500km's from where I lived without a hope of ever getting it off. That same day after the long journey back I drove past a caryard where a tidy Artic Blue EF Fairmont was sitting. Sadly the caryard was closed. The tuesday after work (as it was a long weekend) I went in and had a closer look and a test drive, I signed for it right then and there. Finance was approved and about 2 days later I was the proud owner of a 1995 artic blue EF Fairmont sitting on FTR's, kingy's all round, sound system, exhaust and a tickford body kit. In the end I guess I paid too much for it...but I don't give a ****! I wanted it more than anything.

This is what it looked like the day I picked it up.

A few weeks later I traded the FTR's for some 18" AMG Chromies.

After a collision with a gutter on the way to AFD SA I went out and bought some 18" Speedy Graphites

Since then I put in a adjustable shift kit from shiftkits Australia, NF/NL Driving lights (they work), Done a silver border like paint job on the interior and tidied up the bay a bit. And this is how it currently sits

The crappy pod has gone and been replaced by a K&N now

Nice.... I like the twinlights too. Are you going to replace the side repeaters with clear Fairlane/LTD ones?

You can just pull your current mould bit off on the guard, clean the guard bit and then stick the new one on.

Just night shade them. I reckon they look better dark than clear.

They're currently night shaded. Not sure on if I'm gonna get clear ones or not, I kinda like the shade.

Gas will be out in the coming weeks. Hopefully if all goes to plan by the end of the year I'll have a tickford unit in the bay with the unusual set-up of a garret t3 which although is small I believe will be enough until I convert to something bigger and hungrier. I'm more a fan of auto rather than manual and for that reason I'm going to stick with the auto for now. The shifkit has tightened things up a bit but I still don't have the response I would like...but that's for another day. I'll be swapping the diff out for a XR6 lsd until I can get a 3.9 spool sorted.
