YLDRDE ef futura turbo

had a play today changed the MAP sensor and found the vac line had fallen off tee'd it into the main line for the fuel reg and she now goes like a dream idles perfectly and no over fueling at all revs great so now i can start to reassemble everything and fix a few thing i know it will need for roadworthy ot long until she is on the road now thank god cause now i won't have to burn it lol

fixed up the engine bay and got it "FULLY" back together touched up the paint under there it is all just black so easy to touch up have put some heat wrap all over the throttle and cruise cables and a few lots of wires that were starting to cook and mounted up the washer bottle properly as it didn't have one, all the boost hoses and most water and vac lines are now blue silicone hose just to keep it looking neat

have to touch up cooler pipe again scratched it refitting p/steer pump tonight

i know but as i have said the new pipes are in the process of being made so im not going to fark around wasting my time on these ones

well not next week i still have to get a roady and register it but it might be up and down my street having a few test runs

took the old girl for a quick test drive tonight (quick because it has no bonnet or bumper on) but farkin hard to get gears other than that it goes like a dream couldn't flog it because the motor has only travelled 1km since rebuild but she feels like she wants to go pretty hard when she comes on boost, put it back on ramps when i got it home and found the clutch cable is rooted so now i have to replace that aswell there will be nothing original left by the time its on the road

nah not at the moment should have it back on on the weekend, i have had to keep putting her up on ramps so keeping the bar off until it is ready because the bar is farkin low to the ground as soon as it's back on there will be pics though because it looks 10 times better with it on lol

it is just out of mdf fibre glassed and bogged the seat belt and tail light parts on covered it with wadding material so you couldnt see the joins of the pieces i needed to add then cover in material piece of piss will put pics up for you the same weekend

Hey man sorry for asking for like the 3rd time lol but you had time to get pics?

Im getting 650 bucks from K Rudd for bludging at uni so i thought it would be good to complete my body kit and maybe get a venom bar, although your car is the only ef that i know has one and i'd like to get a good idea of how it'll look. Even just a pic of the bar sitting on would be awesome. You can tell me to fuckoff if u like lol cause i know its probably annoying u by now. :drinks2:

i haven't had a chance sorry the car is on the back burner a bit at the moment and where it is in my shed i wont get a pic with it on i would have to push it out of the shed because it is not going as i have pulled all the battery leads out to re run because of the dodgey way they moved the battery to the boot i have this pic also where you can seee a fair bit of it

that middle pic is just a EL XR6 with the tickford kit, not the venom front bar.

i took this shot of EL Venoms car back when he bought it (before he fucked it) funny thing is, just before you bought this car he was offed a swaps for his. old owner obviously knew all the issues with it

oh i thought the middle was a venom bar because the owner of it had said it was on fordmods i'll just get rid of that lol

got the parcel shelf finished and put in just cut one out of mdf fibreglassed and bogged the seatbelt hole and mound for the rear light covered it with a cotton wadding to build it up then covered it a sued that matches the colour of the dash fairly closely not bolted down yet in the pics but gives you an idea

also have put a turbo blanket on to save some wiring and shit from getting melted

Im not sure if i should go venom bar. Yours looks hot as **** from what ive seen but i dunno.

yep thats the one, its now crushed, he took the kit off and put it on a wagon. it was such a nice car back then. considering he bought that car with the payout from his EB S that he badged as a XR6 and got away with it.

i haven't updated for a little while, i have re done the dodgey battery relocation that was done by one of the last owners and wasn't done exactly how it should as they left the std battery terminals and cables in the engine bay just sitting there and running back to starter and earthed to block i have also put a set of splits in the front and started my boot install for stereo. also recently purchased a surge tank and bosch 044 pump and malpassi r/rate reg and hopefully the wolf v500 should only be a month away if all goes well here are a few pics of how its going so far

still looks odd at the moment but eventually will be fully decked so you can't see any of the original boot and covered in a grey leather material but still a couple of weeks off being that far along

haven't updated for a while on what has been going on with the ef, i went and seen my mate about the roadworthy but with the surge tank and pump in the boot and a few other additions that i have made but will keep hush hush until it is done, they will not touch it so i have bitten the bullet and started to put the whole car back to standard form to get it registered and the put the good stuff back on between all of this i have been putting a vl turbo together to have as a work hack as i needed another car so that has stopped me working on the ford for a couple of weeks, not to mention have also been helping my brother in law build his turbo vl calais which will also be pretty insane
