heres a few with the exhaust fitted.wasnt too bad to fit. easier than it was to fit my au extractors. i was surprised to find it has 4 oxy sensors!

The first two o2 sensors are for mixture correction and the second two are to check catalyst efficiency - hence why I asked about engine lights before, as many of the 'high flow' cats aren't any good and the car will set 'catalyst low efficiency' codes - the same thing happens if you bash the cats out completely of course.

yeah i assumed the 2nd set were to make sure the cats are fine.

a few pics next to the stock exhaust. pretty cool the stock exhaust is stainless. then i got change it with mild steel :lol:

the stock exhaust doesn't look half bad.. my mate took out the 2 rear mufflers in his ve ss wagon and it sound ok now, before you couldn't even tell it was an 8!

got a few pics of stock headers and cats. strange looking but guess they kinda work due to the power they make.
also picked up some top gun 10mm leads. autobarns want $340 for these!!!! its like 2 inches of lead. how can they charge that!!!

those cats do wonders controlling emissions, thats why they look like pigs.. its basically the biggest contribution car manufactures concentrate on when attempting to increase emission efficiency.
i remember my local exhaust guy opening up a bf mkiii territory cat,to take a look inside, he could hardly belive it even flowed the gas out the exhaust..
for that reason you will find the new cats you fitted will improve power more so than the extractors and cat back..

Rollin is correct about the sensors, so be sure to plug all of them in, even drill a hole and plug it in if needed..

EF bottom end with ported EB head, valve springs, EL ECU & J3 chip, crane HI6 CDI & MSD coil, LC-1 wideband & SSI-4 logger

soon - .595" lift cam, GT4202, forged AU engine and built head, ems stinger 4424 ecu, powerglide with 5500 high stall etc - next, bellhousing

XH ute daily - DOHC BA XR6 engine, T5, AU3 ECU with TI J3 chip, ported BBM, 3" stainless intake - 12" sub, tub liner and hard lid - mass skids and epic tyre carrying capabilities :)

haha yeah i could never handle a 2jz :P

um timing chain tensioner has snapped. lots of fun :banghead:

ahhh dam man no good how did it snap did u get a cam and tune or something?
is this a common fault?

once all the front was taken off thats when it was noticed man.
