The Daily - Slammed LTD

Hey guys,

Picked up this DF LTD earlier this year from NSW. Needed a daily runabout
as my new VE SS Ute was racking up the KMs with work. Thought id do a couple
of mods too keep it looking half decent.

Mods:

20" MnM Diesel Rims
replaced full interior with low km DL LTD trim
DL Chrome Side Door Moulds
Advance Headers
Custom 3" twin exhaust
King Springs 'Lows', compressed 3 inches
Monroe GT short shockers

Ya learn to drive a real low car daily. Pretty sure LOWXR and bentls drove around at about that ride height daily.

lol my fairlane is on king SSL's and that is bad enuff. just hate the scraping. i thought daily's were meant to be more practical than cool... e.g bentls new daily

Nice to see you got a few mods done i remember when i scrapped out a guard..
Was on one of our cruises with 20's got out hammer done some ghetto rolling on the guard..
ended up replacing the guard but mine were tyre tuck not rim tuck..
LTD for a daily is fun i know n hope your at the mini meet again

LoL Cheers guys... yeh the guards are pretty rooted, but they're cheap so will get a couple more before charity cruise
and will get them professionally flared... Its abit too low too ONLY roll the guards... LoL Had too take out the inner plastic
guards on the front, and have too run without hub-adapters on the rear (BA offset rims).

I know its abit stupid rolling around like this for a "daily", but I now only work 10 minutes away from home,
so the chances of getting defected or in shit is pretty slim.

Pretty happy too finally have another modded Eseries, and is actually abit more fun than the VE SS.... at times


Will hopefully see you all out tonight (friday night) on the hwy (hopefully not defected)

do u have any problems with ur tailshaft rubbing?
i got ssl king springs all round in my lane and with a full car it makes a sweet rubbing noise from the tailshaft im pretty sure

the only reason there isnt flaps on the front is coz they got ripped off
needs to be lower in rear!!!

i dunno you could learn to ride a donkey to work aswell... if you have 2 cars the daily i think should be simple to drive fly over speed humps and let you snooze at traffic lights... not feel like a flinstones car...

i'd agree with that,
as good as it looks on it's gut's on 20's ..... the "ve ute" would be a better daily... imo

No tailshaft rubbing... yet

Not too phased about the concepts of 'comfort' or 'practibility',
as like i said i work 10 mins from home...

Cruised all night last night, only saw one cop and he didnt look at me... luckily
The ride wasnt too bad, was just scraping on bad bumps, or on full lock in car parks...

Will aquire some new guards, and then look at getting them sprayed/rolled.
