Thought I would share my first car with you guys. I'm damn proud and couldnt have wished for a cleaner model. It's in lightning strike, on black leather. Only downside is the massive spoiler, but that can be fixed with a DJR bobtail. Here's some pictures.

Thanks for the responses, and as for the stupid P Plater mods warning, TRUE! I'm a firm believer that the more simple and understated a car looks, the more attractive it is. The weathershields, mud flaps and towbar cap are happening this weekend. Then then hopefully i'll get a DJR bobtail OR a new bootlid with a force lip. I also have a K&N panel filter ready and I may get a typhoon secondary intake.

Just got this clock face to tie in the clock to the rest of the car, hopefully i'll find a dash template with the same design. Anyone have a template out of a fairlane/ltd?

Turned out my template was no good, so I had a proper look on eBay and found some genuine fairlane fascia's on.

i wouldnt do the fairlaneltd grille. looks poxy as, seen it on a BA ghia going around my area.

Id definately do the BF2 Ghia front. sexiest b series front ever.

I want to tie the rest of the car up with the grille, I don't like the current one because of the black centre. As for the BF2 front, yes I like it, but i'm not a fan of making a car what it's not and don't want to customise it too much too.

Oh ok, i'll probably go see if some wrecker has any. Also today I was bored so I decided that the matte rocker cover wasn't to my liking, SO I got out some aluminium foil and degreaser and cleaned some of the surface. Then I got some mother's polish and 1/2 an hour and tonnes of elbow grease later this was the result. I couldn't finish the rest as by back started getting painfull, and it doesn't allow me to bed far enough to reach the sides. It still needs more on that surface but I can't wait to finish it off.

This things changed alot next is a mkII front end or a xr front with bulge, twin dumps and some 20" zumbo expose INK's. front end looks shit in comparison lol. needs to sit lower too

thanks man. im not sure, if i dont find a good mkii front i might try graft the mkii xr front pods onto it and just get a xr8 bonnet. there's a sr lip made for this front end but its rarer than anything.
