ATTENTION CANBERRA MEMBERS - Cruise EOI

Postby Bipolar » December 12th, 2007, 12:27 pm

I know there's not that many of you down there but thinking maybe if there's even 3 or 4 cars we could do a run to Tidbinbilla or the Brindabellas or something on the 22nd.

Thoughts?

Ooh, i dunno.. My car isn't really up to the E-Series owner's standards - maybe after some new mags. Still looks like too stocky.

Oh man, you are so wrong! You should've seen some of the shitters that came on our cruises up here. One of the dudes had his wife and 3 kids in a fully stock busted and badly rusted white EA wagon that blew smoke. That car was the only one I can remember when EVERYONE made a comment about it.

You've got nothing to worry about. My car is stock apart from sound, height and rims. Do it! :D

I'm thinking the Sunday, at 10:30. I haven't been on roads to either of the above since before I could drive, so I don't know which is the best. Need a central meeting point too. I don't know where you guys will be coming from, but I'll be in Tuggeranong.

The road past Tidbinbilla that goes the 30km or so round to the Cotter is pretty fun. Just windy roads and nature reserves. Ends you up in Weston.

That sounds pretty damn good to me. How's somewhere in Woden sound for a central meeting point?

It actually took me a full 2 seconds before I came to the conclusion that ain't gonna happen. The GF isn't looking forward to the trip back let alone anywhere else. I've been riding the limiter on her carometer for the last couple of months - think if we did that she'd bust a poo valve or something

Meet at Cooleman Court at 11am on Sunday. I haven't been there for a few years so unless someone can specify a street, I'll just say meet at the back of one of the car parks.
