hi guys nathan here just joined up here is my ride (dougs old rig) it is an 88 EA thats has been resprayed (again lol) in cyprus blue it has an ED XR6/8 front conversion, ED boot/garnish/tail lights EB/ED rear c pillar plastics AU1 intec I6 has pacemaker extractors and 2 1/2inch zorst and thermo fan superlows with ultima short travel shocks. it has a T5 with heavy duty clutch. Interior consists of EA fairmont trim with custom (thanx doug) A/B/C pillars ED fairmont hood lining autometer ultralite gauges and a pro comp silver monster tacho ICE consists of sony 7inch in-dash screen and stacker JBL subs MTX front/rear speakers and amp aswell as response amp powering the subs. i have half the turbo kit sitting in my shed aswell as the lsd centre the doug supplied with car aswell as a 3.45 king pin and crown wheel. The rims are 18inch ANZ Velvets (yes i know i shoulda left the boyds on) only things left to do is the turbo diff and seats then its all done. well here it is cheers for looking at my ride.

schmick....all that needs to be said..... Love the stance in that second pic.... are those taillights tinted? they look darker.....Nice rims too ;)

nah doug had'em tinted but these ones are just good second handies coz the other tail lights had more crack then harlum cheers for the feedback guys wonder if doug has seen it yet i rekon he'd be proud

edit: only found pics in red, with the black moulds and boyds on.

i have pics of it with the turbo setup at shep too.

IMO it looked best with falcon headlights/EA grille and the smoothies...
looks good, but looked better before

So many memories with that car :P

I agree with it looking better with it's smoothies / grey bar / EA grill and headlights setup, but each has their own taste. Wheels should set it off how it is now i reckon.

That front bar is definitely a non genuine item :S

Wow that colour is very blue indeed. Looks good, but I have to agree about the EA grill and headlights looking better.

thanx for the feedback guys, wish it still had that boot install when i bought the car, i dunno i still like the xr style front, sunny you rekon its a non genuine, how do you even tell, i thought that because it doesn't seem to meet up with the quater guard properly, i 'm taken it back the panel shop on monday anyway gotta hit'em up about a few things

I can tell because it looks all unfitting, too wide and bent like mine did. The Ford one will have the Ford part number and possibly a logo on the inside of the bottom left or right hand corner of the bar.

Looks awesome man, good to see u kept it the same colour.....best colour ever IMO! Like the other guys said, I probably would have kept the Boyd's but ah well, a change is as good as a holiday. Good work:)

wow it has been awhile since i was on here, car has been stripped down again, rebuilt motor, snort stage 4 manifold, synapse 50mm gate/bov, airesearch T04, 20inch dark agaents, and a heap more, will post up pics and a detailed update when I have more time.
