i got superlows fitted today, kinda hoping their gonna settle a fair bit lol. the back is at a good height but the front dosnt seem to have come down much at all.

oh well, if they dont settle much then il just get some ultras for the front.

new springs also highlighted how rooted my rear shocks are, never noticed before but fark me its obvious now. certainly helps explain the unpredictable handling.

another ive been meaning to do for ages was grab some lock nuts, we all know thieves can get round anything, but anything that makes it harder has to be a good thing.

so a month or so ago these came up as a charity sale on aff, they only had four sets so i jumped on them pretty quick.

Image
Image

finally pulled finger and threw them on the ef.

Image

while i fairly sure theyl come off with the right (devious) methods im pretty confident none of those methods will be quiet...

got the new suspension bits fitted today... must say im liking the service at midas capalaba, thats twice theyve worked on my car, and ive been happy both times.

went from worn out stock shocks, and kings superlows all round to nice new boge shocks from tuffcarparts and ssl's in the front, massive improvement, drives so much nicer now.

lol, yeah ive been thinking about them for yonks, couldnt afford them when he first advertised them, than wasnt sure if they would suit. i think im gonna have to go for a smaller tyre/lower profile on the front yet.

have to wait and see once i find some adapters.

its got 245/35s on all four rims. the fronts are brand new, even still got the little nipple things on them. hmm nipples........

il wait till i try them on the car but im thinking maybe a 235/35 will help. not sure if theres lower profiles available or not.
