Powdercoat rims black will look mad!.... i dunno the bonnet buldge only seems to look good on the black ve walkinshaw car i always see advertised around the place

haha so no-one like the walky bonnet heh? im looking at maybe getting a set of gts wheels or pentagons etc etc. then might look at the scoop later.

swaped coil overs over a while ago. brought the rear down nice and level for now.
then i chucked some shit in the back of it tonight and think the ride height is sick! :good:

You just need to learn how to adjust those coilovers now lol. Also don't get pentagons. I fucken hate pentagons.
I had to fit tyres to gts wheels other day. I'm not doing it for u too lol

Walky bonnets are abortions, they don't do anything except make the car even uglier than it is.

The GTS rims are much better than the current ones though, definitely get them if you're not going to go aftermarket.

i hated pentagons too but ive seen them on a few ve's and they are growing on me.

lol cheers man. well im trying to get everyone on here to like my car so im in the middle of fitting a wrx front bar and eb taillights.maybe a few years down the track ill do clear side repeaters and a pod filter.

wheels would be genuine only. dont want to touch aftermarkets whatsoever.

You'd get the most number of 'likes' if you set it on fire and posted the vid on facebook :P

I did a cam swap in a walkinshaw 'enhanced' (yep, note the italics...) SS last month, the bonnet wart was exactly that...a wart. Not particularly well made, slightly lifting at the edges and a bit floppy when you drove down the road.

I mean, if you're the type of dude that puts a pair of socks down his pants before he does clubbing, by all means, get a wart, but other than that, it's a shit idea. Money better spent paying off loan/bigger TV/night in a hotel room with coke and hookers/nitrous kit etc.

Not from the vids I've seen, but I can't see it from the drivers seat so I give no fark. The bonnet wart was irritating because it was in the bottom of my vision the entire time I drove the car.

Is that 230 supplied, painted and fitted? Pretty bloody good price. Money would be better spent on hookers though. Male ones.

yeah not really a fan mate. id like tokeep stock wheels on it. if i went aftermarket id go the same wheels bentley had on his ba when he sold it. not sure what they are called tho.

haha dont temp me justin.
ive seen a few kits on ebay for about 3500 onwards. but i doubt a turbo would suit my cam. ive heard my cam wont work as well with a blower as it would with a smaller cam.

yeah thats the problem with the walky bonnet. whenever you see one you expect it to be blown.
ill lower it a bit,gts wheels and over xmas ill try paint the caliper, and detail it a bit under the bonnet.

ive seen a few kits on ebay for about 3500 onwards. but i doubt a turbo would suit my cam. ive heard my cam wont work as well with a blower as it would with a smaller cam.

Do a bit of research on those cheaper kits on ls1.com.au....
GenRacing do a decent budget kit, not sure if they have a VE one ready, but I'll ask him next time I speak with them.

yeah i saw those kits kicking around. i saw there stand at the commo cruise for charity. looked like good quality stuff.

well i killed the clutch in this today.
went camping and it started making some pretty bad noises while i was up there. then was following the tow truck taking my tbird to work when the pedal hit the floor and couldnt select gears.
pulled into a side street in bayswater where it is now and checked the fluid , just to find clutch fluid is empty. jumped under car and fluid is pisssing out everywhere.
so new clutch, slave etc etc will be ghetting done in the next few weeks.

yeah its a about 62,xxx kms. not to bad. just couldnt of come at a worse time. was hoping to do some cruising over the holidays :bye:

Looking tops mate... did you figure out the tyre pressure monitoring in the end? I've got my owner's handbook here.

Also, how have you found the C&A people? They have a special on currently, $990 for tune and intake which if it's any good I would consider - they do servicing as well which I need.
