Interesting about the ECU comments. I wonder if it was using a Ford ECU & controlling the cams properly that it got that power. The Wolf wouldn't be able to control the phasers right?

To match that colour would be super hard as it's the orange from the focus and has other pearls in it, then do the dash, then take out the crappy top loader and put either a C4 or tremec, replace ecu so the car will owe me 10k on top of the asking price..................

Everything is so easy 2 u but when u add the cost and TIME it's not worth it and rather buy a property and make money then use equity to buy a car :drinks2: and thats what im doing....................

Spent big money on a EF XR8 stroker been there done that and know what it costs & TIME to build a solid car............................

any half decent panel beater should be able to match the colour without too much trouble... And why would you change the ECU when it
seems to be doing a fine job as it is? Understandable that building a decent car takes much money and effort though that Im well
aware of....

Here are the links to my sale threads

http://www.fordmods.com/ford-parts-for- ... 51609.html

Once i find another XF/EL XR8 with under 100,000kms in immaculate condition ill be building a Dart block engine but this time i would use TFS heads, different intake and CUSTOM cam to tie it all together

The manifold was restricting it, 4000rpm converter and had a tuning issue.......................

U look at the hp it made but did u look at what torque it made

Also its only 10.1 comp and not a big camshaft as well as it was a street engine

for a street car it was a fun engine and did 150meter power skid's easy chopping 265/30/19 but with bait of changes it would made another 40-60hp

Next engine is a 363ci solid roller and chasing 600hp flywheel but abit scared of that power on the street.......

Yeh either my mate who is a machinist/engine builder if I want it quicker or get engine builder in the US to do it all and on the engine dyno............ But a six month wait on engine...........

My mate said I can put it together and he will check clearances but I don't want to risk it on a big dollar engine

yeah i reckon its getting close to a bloody good price...

you would be struggling hard to build it for that, unless you could do a lot of it yourself.

Wouldnt even come close to building it for that price imo. Wheels and engine is already 20k!

if only it was a collectable model, im looking at spending up to 20k on a car maybe halfway through the year, but because im borrowing the money im only going to be looking at something that will either hold its value or gain in value.
