i had to battle through alot of water to get home tonight.... alot of road's closed or half closed.
with some people in front of me going to slow through the water and making me mighty nervous !

bentls wrote:insurance is shannons yea? should still be sweet man, considering i asked bec when i got mine through her if i would still be covered if the car wasnt in my name yet...
just tell shannons you didnt even know the car had no rego... cos you didnt get a fine from the cops did you?

With the car lowered it would have been under a meter of where the OTR sits. So it could e done really easy. Deep enough puddle/going through at a reasonable pace it would easily go over the bonnet.Rollin wrote:That's pretty aids, even though it is a holden
How did you manage it though? The intake on the OTR is quite high off the ground...

I'd be interested to see how high an OTR on a VE is compared to the stock intake on my NC - anyone wanna measure a VE for me?

Yeah fair enough if you didn't see it due to the rain, I was more talking about people who do it on purpose (I watched a BMW X5 die a watery death in 2009 - it was following a pajero, the pajero pulled over to do a u-turn to avoid the water but the X5 guy drove around him, massive bow wave then glug glug glug....tow truck time)LOW_XR wrote: due to the rain being soo bad i didnt know about the water at this roundabout mate. if id known, i wouldnt of gone through
