that part of the road should be back open in the morning ?
much damage to the other ute that was in front of you?
EFFalcon wrote:if they repair it, will they fix it back to how you had it? or would they just put a stocker in?
would depend what was listed on the policy i assume?
and if its a rebuild or replacement
Mr_4.0 wrote:If they replace motor it will only be what's listed on policy. I honestly feel for ya on this one.
SLY5LT wrote:did you put all the stock engine cover, air intake, spring's etc back on it ?
as john said, if it's insured as a "stock" car....
any little thing they can pick to get out of covering it they'll tick.
EFFalcon wrote:i wouldn't be worried about them seeing modified stuff and denying the claim.
i'm just thinking of the cash he's just spent getting the cam etc done.
all down the drain if they replace the motor with a stocker
xr6berto wrote:still it would be better than them not replacing the motor at all, and run an even bigger loss.
justa6 wrote:it would be good if they assessed the car, come to the conclushion that it would cost x amount to fix and just gave you the money. i know it mean's you would have to do the work but that's the way i would want it. might be worth asking.
EFFalcon wrote:yeah, i guess worst case assuming its covered, you end up with a fresh motor.

Sounds really good. On a similar note, had a customer today purchase a nitrous & purge kit ONLY so he could purge through a Chev badge on his VT
