Welp, since the bloody sUnited servo in Mulgrave (prinni hwy) has water damage again, it is out of order. This means Patterson Lakes and Mulgrave now cant give me my 100octane. So now i have 0 fuel servos! Just bit the bullet and said F* it. Just organised e85 to be delivered to my door in 200L drums. Same day delivery. And will now just live on e85. Just bought some ID2000cc injectors to replace the deka 60s (hence they are for sale in the for sale thread) and looking to smash in some big numbers with the newly modified BTR + stallie and new turbo setup. Have gone a to4z sized turbo mod, new split dump and external gate.

Now chasing 400-450rwkw. Think i might stick with 450 if i can get there as 350 has been a handfull on the road with the ET Streets. Need to find the medium.

Car going in tomorrow for the tune. Think next step will be valve springs!

It's like $1 a liter from a servo but it's inconsistent and still not that common.

And you get a barrel.

Good for disposing of bodies.

Plus you can buy a barrell for $500. Use the fuel. Fill it for $200 and sell it unused for $500.

how much is other race fuels tho... you're comparing it to regular fuel.. its not like you use E85 race fuel in your dailies...
isnt it around $16 a litre for other race mix fuels? sunoco or some shit

lol ill cry if i cant get a 10 with this new setup. even with a 2.1 i should still dip iwnto 10.99! Well i got new et streets on now so at least a 1.9! I doubt ill hit 450rwkw unless i do v/springs. I wont do those for a few weeks then another retune.

lawl @ 500$ per barrel. its normally 2$ a litre.

Ill be happy with a consistent 400 let alone 450rwkw. theres 3 BAs i know who run 10sec passes with 125mph. When i had 350rwkw i ran over 126mph 3 out of the 4 runs i had. Its all about the perfect run. When you dip into the 10 sec barrier and 400+rwkw mark, shit brakes everywhere. Id be happy with a full pass with a 1.8 60". See how i go over the next few weeks.

Mind you e85 chews 30% quicker then fuel. but again, its good for 30-40rwkw or more.

isn't it more of a challenged to get that (perfect run) and learn how to drive to get a 10, rather then just throw more money at it like some little rich kid..

I've got a crazy idea.

Take your car with 350rwkw, which already does 126mph (which you've said is enough for a 10) and run the fucking thing down the track a couple of times.

If you actually LEARN TO DRIVE you'll be amazed at how much time you can shave off a quarter. You're having issues with slow 60's atm? another 50-100rwkw is NOT going to help you. If anything, it's probably going to kill you, or at least make you crash.

MORE POWER IS NOT THE ANSWER.

well i sucked it up and just bought the atomic vsprings for 250 brand new. good offer couldnt say no

So off to drop car of at dyno-mite tomorrow.

Whilsts its there ill take the head apart so dion can do the swap of springs over as i have no idea how to use that tool, ill take the surge tank off get it posted to process west for the modification and ill fit the id2000's so its all ready! Should be good!
