just bought ef xr6!!

Just bought my first car p-plater ef xr6, i would like more power and have about $3500 left to spend, i have the basic pod filter, and pacemaker extractors and exhaust the car has 135k's on the clock, should i just turbo charge it and hope the cops do hear me coming . Also if you guys know where i can go to for these mods/ ford speclists in nsw.

mods depend on your budget and what your preference like brocky said look up peoples cars and take it from there and welcome to boosted :drinks2:

lol, i know how to drive i mean ive been in a few circuit car events and raced formula vee. But you have a point dont want the cops banning me from driving my car.

probably manual coversion, 3.9's, cam and J3 chip for 3.5k would be the way to go? Man I rule..

Do yourself a favor and replace the water pump, hoses and get a heavy duty radiator before u do any mods. Very likely any of it hasn't been replaced and u rather do that than blow a head gasket.

Agreed make sure everything is in decent condition before you add shit you dont need.

But i reckon a chip, tune and cam. What's the use in doing more than that when you'll probably want a v8 or turbo once your allowed.
