Nah it's gonna stay in the middle, can't be fucked getting that section filled, but I got a slimline plate for the front now so no overhang!

So progress has been awfully slow and motivation isn't there at all, but slowly it's coming together. Planned to drop the motor in today but it didn't happen. I will have to do it one night this week because I do a lot of travelling with my line of work, so most weekends I'm interstate, and if I don't get the motor in this week I probably won't have a chance to do it until next year.
Cheers to big tim, malakai and revengelane for helping out when they can. If they didn't come and help out I'd get bored and shit wouldn't get done.

Anyway the motor looks more complete now at least. Just needs the clutch and flywheel on, then it's ready to be dropped in with the gearbox.

I originally was going to run with an NPC twin plate, but they assured me that this single plate button was up to handling 600hp at the tyres, and I'm only planning on 500-550hp at the bags so it'll be fine for me and was half the price of the twin plate.

With some help from big tim, I got sick of the fail fitment of the Lenso's, took advantage of the weak US dollar and got these Enkei RPF1's in 18 x 9.5 +15 all round.

The motor and g/box are in the car, I just don't have the time to finish it right now which sucks because I really want to do 4th gear skids.

No real updates. Toyed with the idea of just paying somebody to finish the car for me because I just don't have the time - I'll be on tour with my band from now until April, possibly longer, with only a few days at home here and there and on those few days off there are thousands of things I'd rather do than work on fucken car haha...

So basically until I make up my mind on how it's getting finished it'll just sit in the garage.

Hey cheers man.

Tijuana Cartel is the band, we're on the festival circuit a lot at the moment but we're also doing headlining shows all around the country, we've got Falls Festival in Tassie and Victoria across new years, and Southbound in WA, Sunset Sounds in Brissie, plus this year we did Splendour in the Grass, Good Vibes and Bluesfest, then about 20 or 30 other smaller festivals all over the place. It takes up a lot of time but I wouldn't do it if I didn't love it!

Much better value than a My Family sticker too. My Family stickers are 4 or 5 bucks per character and make almost everybody cringe...this sticker was $9 for 4 characters and it provides many laughs.

A little bit of disappointment late in the game. The angle of the new plenum and the sheer size of the new throttle body mean I can't use the awesome catch can I had made. So now I'm back to waiting on parts to arrive. I've stopped considering the idea of a deadline for finishing the car haha, all I know is it'll hopefully be sometime this month.

So an update on the car I suppose, it's been tuned at 400hp this time around, I've got a fuel system at home to go in at some stage, so once that happens it'll go back for a big tune, hopefully looking at somewhere around 500hp at this stage. Still haven't gotten a chance to drive it properly as it was raining the day it got tuned, then the very next day I left for the tour. So now it has to wait for a few weeks until I get back. Aids...

20psi. Makes full boost at 3700 and holds it until rev limiter (7200).
