dunno what id ask for the chrommies just yet mate,, havent really looked around. i guess with only like 1000km on the treads id look for around $1600? what you think?

id also prob look at swaps for other wheels, plus cash either way depending on what they are... would LOVE to try find some good 20" dark agents. i just reackon they would look great under mine. will have to find someone to photochop some on. haha

thats the first iv ever heard about commo springs going under a b series without causing damage. but hey, im no expert, so who knows. i got a mate with a lowered vt so i guess ill have a look next time were both bored.

will have to ask the bloke up albs what he's running under her hosey. or ill have to try find him and race him, then ask him what he has in/under it. haha.

Went up to the top of Mt Hotham yesterday. had my mate drive my car up there while i enjoyed a good ride on my bike behind him. 300km for the day from wangaratta. was quite an awesome ride. but yeah, got up there for a cold and overcast view, but the sun peeked out a couple of times, and i snapped a few (122) photos with the iphone. haha.

hmmm. people who have watched this thread and know what my car looks like... opinions please:

what do people think about 20" dark agents under mine? iv got the chromes sitting in the shed atm. thinking of swap (plus cash) with a couple of people for a different set of rims. i LOVE the ones on it now, but would always be good to have something else in store for fun.

yeah im keen on trying it. cant think of many situations ill b chosing to sit her on the chromies instead of the koya's its on now. but i reckon it would look mint with the dark agents, so ill try and tee the deal up asap.

went on the dyno at wodonga's totally exhausted dyno day. was a bit confused by the whole process. as they didnt take the maximum of any of the cars runs.. and everything was measured in hp and the treads. for instance, a gen 3 supercharged vy made 395 and 405 hp on its runs, and their "average" was 383... and mine, i wasnt expecting much, being the only p plater car there, in other words, non turbo or non v8, and i hit 199 and 201hp in my two runs, and they gave me a 185... confusing!

but, i take away from it that i have 200 horseys sitting under my right foot waiting to get kicked up the ass. haha

HEY EVERYONE

do me a favour? am trying to win myself a free photo shoot with a guy from another forums.. he does some bloody nice work. and it would be pretty sweet to get a nice set of pics of my car. instead of just off the iphone. haha.

if you have literally 2 minutes spare. go here

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/PhotosbyPearly

and like the page... once thats done, just go into his photo's, go into the "win a photo shoot" album, find my sexy xr6 (its down the bottom atm) and click it, and like the photo!!!

it would be a huge favour and id love to get a heap of people off these forums onto my bandwagon on there.

thanks in advance if you do it!

cheers,

remps

Websters had a dyno day on the same time as totally exhausted. Should've went there. $10 for a run in kw and you got to keep your print out's. Mates eb got 108kw. His a p plater. Wouldve been someone that you could of shown up lol. Seeming as 200hp is about 150kw.

okay. new addition everyone.

was going to footy last saturday morning. wet roads in the shade of trees. i came out of an intersection and acclerated as normal. the back end swung out, i corrected it, not paniccing. it kicked out to the right, then the left again, and i was heading towards a sign. i didnt wanna hit that, and i tried to throw it around and loop it to stop in middle of the road. the back tires just nipped the dirt, and that threw it out more sideways, and once they grabbed the road again, it sent me straight across the road and the front right headlight into two small (30cm wide) red gum trees. the momentum took the back end around to the right and went down the ditch. the trees were levelled, cut straight through them like a chainsaw...

airbag didnt go off. and i only found out today the extent of the damage.

around 8-9 grand in normal damages.

havent totalled the paintjob, but at $1000+ a lt. its not gonna be cheap,

then they found the kink in the chassis just near the firewall, and that takes it up around the $14-15k mark. and they said theyve never seen an insurance company pay out on something that damaged.

so it looks like when the assesor comes this week sometime they will write it off..

SOOOO DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!
