This ones a keeper!! 93 EB XR6

Hey guys, Im Dan

Have been a member for a little while but havnt put any of my cars on here yet so I thought I would.

I just bought my 3rd car about a month ago which is a 1993 EB Series 2 XR6.
My first car was a 94 ED XR6 but it was an absolute bucket of pus
Then got a 96 EF Fairmont Ghia, had that for a few months then my dad went for a drive in the rain, lost control and wrote it off into a cement wall!!

So ive ended up with this and I gotta say im happy he wrote my Fairmont off

I bought it from Canberra and drove it back to Brisbane which was a fantastic drive. Car is like brand new!

Mods:-

5 Speed Manual
Complete engine rebuild done 50,000 kms ago
Gearbox rebuilt
Diff rebuilt
Power steering rack & pump overhauled
Excedy heavy duty clutch
Extractors
2.5” cat back exhaust
EL thermo fans
Full EB GT Body kit to suit twin headlights
Bonnet flutes
18” BF Cobra wheels (all alloy)
Resprayed in Pearl Black
Custom enclosed sound system in boot: 10” Sony Explode Sub, 1 amp for the sub & another one for the speakers, tweeters, 10 Stacker CD player in the boot.
Power windows
Power sunroof
Genuine EB GT Momo steering wheel

That’s as much as I can think of… Also posted a couple pics of what my dad did to my Fairmont.

When i read "EB GT Body kit"... i was thinking dear god....

But that does look awesome! It really does suit it!

Now you just need some boost to make it go as fast as it looks :-P

I was thinking the same thing.
