1/4 mile gearing (and grip)

So, im still looking for some 2nd hand radials. Not gonna pay $260ea for new tyres that ill use maybe twice. Unless someone wants to lend me a set?

Preferably 15", 235s or so, on steelies.

i ran my ea on an 1/8th mile track, street tyres with low pressure and a manual, i had a 3.08 single spinner the first time i went and got 9.89 the next time i went on same tyres and low pressure i had a 3.9lsd and couldnt get off the line due to lack of traction so couldnt crack the 9's
