Well about time.....

Snuck off to heathcote Today and had 9 runs.

Finally I done some proper burnouts and I recon I can still launch with more boost. Only launched off 12psi. Was told to try 15 and 18 but time ran out.

Best 3 runs were

* 10.68 @ 137.45 with 1.79 60"
* 10.57 @ 136.57 with 1.64 60"

And...

10.56 @ 137.28 with 1.69 60"

Finally! Car has a 10.30ish with a 1.59< that some other ba's were pulling.

Congrats to dion's miss us for running a 10.71 @130 with a 1.57 60"!!!!

Finally!!! No head light out. No full slicks or front runners. As car sits all day

So.... Now next round of mods! Lol!!!

locust disappeared a while ago. cold weather made them piss off. i was gunna head out to Heathcote this morning but didn't get home til 4am last night so couldn't drag my ass out of bed

Yeah I roll on et streets all the time. Terrible on dynos lol. Gotta swap to stockies when on dyno or tuning. No cage needed at heathcote unless your running 9s which is mad. Calder has heaps stricter rules. Tail shaft loops, harnesses, cages etc.

It's something to do with Heathcote being privately owned and run. doesn't come under full ANDRA rules.

they work well!

Just dont drive them in the wet. EVER. Else you may end up loosing it like i did and smashign the front bar into a grass bank from doing 20km/h into a corner...shocking in the wet. Awesome in the dry. No wheelspin/chirping throughout gears.

But some cops with major rwc you if caught with them on as they are not really legal on our roads.

ok....so...

just got convinced by tuner (thanks Dion sheesh lol) to go again at heathcote before we go upgrading and launching from more boost as my guage might be out 4-5psi Dion said. I got my mechanical COBALT autometre +30psi gauge to fit so ye.

Wants to get the 2nd 044 i have connected so i need to get a rail and fuel reg now fitted. I gotta wait till next fortnights pay slip as i just bought brembo's and new dba4000s for the fronts.

He said if his the other BA can get 1.5x's no worries then i should too. Aiming for a 10.2-10.3 and 140mph+ with 440-450rwkw through the BTR 4SPD. And then I can upgrade stuff lol. Still sticking with ET Streets. Hope the diff/CVs still hold up.

So over the next month see what happens...

you said, you were talked into taking it back to the drags without upgrading anything. then in the same post you said, your getting fuel a rail, pump and more power. well thats upgrading isn't it?

ah i get ya justa6. I was gonna wait till i went built motor/auto to go again, but got my arm twisted to get the rail fitted and get the 2nd 044 running with some more boost. And try go for a 10.2-10.3. So i said SURE WHY NOT lol.

Was on my 4th run Pargrey. then the other 5 were all under 10's. 1st time ever at calder with 350rwkw i had 4 runs all night. Stupid calder. Now im pro drag racer! lawl.

20s are only on the front effalcon. I always run 17" ET STREETS on the back. Im only purchasing 2 rims.

brake price doesnt mean car is quick. If it all went on price tag, then a c63 merc would mean its the fastest thing out there yo!
