Heef's champagne EB GLi

Postby EBGLi6 » May 30th, 2011, 1:57 am

hey all

got this EB about two weeks ago and for the first week it almost ended up at the scrap yard more times then i'd like to count...

basically it's a $600 EB - nothing special
all i really wanna do is put an EL comp in with a J3 chip, maybe a cam, loudish exhaust, nice stereo and low on stockies

it's got 380 odd thou on the clock, it had a motor re-con in '01 and i have a book in it from '00 that states the odo reading was 280,000 = win!

it needs a few little things but i'm gonna get there :D

You've got the exact same dent under the left tail light as mine. :P
Are you gonna go clear indicators? It's such a tiny mod but it can change the whole car.

it's a common dent.. lol

so i went to pick dads ED up from a mechanic today because i couldn't be stuffed fixing the inlet gasket.. i get talking to the guy that owns the place about J3 chips and stuff and he said i don't need one.. i called bullshit then he takes me to his EL XR6, turns it over and i say "stage 3 cam" he says yeah, headwork, pacemaker extractors etc and it turns out to be quite a worked XR.. then he takes me to his EB and pops the bonned, exactly the same except its running a direct port NOS setup... 300 extra HP via a button on the wheel!.. turns out he's an e series nut and i find a mechanic i'll take my car too... so i'm looking at a stage 3 cam and Pacemaker extractors in a few weeks.. fair good day
