Hi..

Introduce yourself and your ride.

Hi..

Postby BLC » January 23rd, 2008, 1:39 pm

Hoping I'm still welcome here!

Some (few?) of you may recall my name from AFF, I've been a member here for some time, but rarely post, just read. Never got into the politics between AFF and Boosted, just interested in the cars.

Anyway, after owning a succession of cars, I finally stuck with an ED Futura, which had a mere 170,000km, auto, and 1 owner. Basically, a mint grannies car.

Over the past year, I've done a few mods, and its starting to look decent.

Hopefully, I'll finally get to meet some of you on a cruise someday :)

Quick pic - it's actually lower than this, had no fuel and no spare at the time of the photo. Car was unwashed too.. slack :?

I'm not a fan of the seat cover myself, but it was free, mate works at autobarn, and I had an upholstery place stuff the shit outta the side bolsters and base, its basically become a bucket seat, but the material looks a bit funny. Seat cover = cheap fix :D

As for mods, it's currently got a 1636 cam, pacemakers + zorst, rebuilt+strengthened T5, thermo conversion, 3.45 LSD etc etc.

Usual mods. Goes alright.

Be careful, I know a guy who had a hex-turbo torana with approximately 1 million rwhp, and someone sent a photoshopped pic of his super awesome EL doing a skid to the po-lice, and they came round and tried to impound his car.
True story.
