Pardon me, are you requesting advice on modifying your side repeaters, or are you trying to sell backyard tobacco from the western suburbs on here?

IIRC not the guard, just the repeater itself. I had to trim my std EB plugs to fit into my WK repeaters. Also I glued my repeaters to the guard (well, the mould on the guard), not sure if this is the case with VX repeaters.

pretty sure they have a similare setup to the AUIII ones. dont have to chop the mould by the way i should have said you can either open up the guard with a sharp knife or shave back the repeater also with a sharp knife. either one works.

Come to think of it, EFFalcon posted up a tech thread on how to fit AU repeaters.

Here it is :) viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1878

VHT is paint dude....and no, you do not want to paint your dash!

VX ones fit ok, slightly loose though, so you might need to put a little silastic or something on them to keep them in place.

You can buy the proper plugs and connectors, which come with about 15cm of wiring, so you can solder the wires to your original harness and have connectors and plugs that fit properly.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Glue ;) can always apply heat & melt off, or use fishing wire & "saw" off

I will say, don't bother with BA repeaters. I bought some, they look rubbish. Personally, I would go for the VY ones, the squarer shape suits the style of the car better.
