Sunny's '02 BA XR6 Turbo

Picked this beast up about 2 weeks ago. Popped up kinda cheap and the guy who was selling it said he was only leaving it for sale at that price for 3 days, and I missed it but managed to get his number before the ad went down and persuaded him to sell it because I urgently needed a car.

Came with BA XR8 wheels on it and was a bit dirty inside and out. Has the following mods -

- Nizpro big cooler
- Nizpro hot-side pipes, custom cold side
- Typhoon secondary intake, high flow filter
- Ported wastegate and stronger actuator (unsure what PSI)
- X Force cat-back
- Nizpro re-drilled injectors
- Walbro fuel pump
- XR8 bonnet
- BF XR front bar
- Custom plates BASIXT
- SL rear springs, SSL fronts
- De-spoilered and boot re-sprayed
- Autometer Cobalt boost gauge

Since I've got it I've done the following

- Brand new chunky steering wheel
- New T-Bar quadrant
- BF2 GT / FG GT wheels
- Hard out clean
- De-badged everywhere

Current plans are to maybe get it buffed by Shane NFGHIA and do the front ball-joints, along with get a stone tray for under the front bar because it's missing.

Had some probs with the tune, but after re-loading the tune and putting Ultimate in it's running about 95% better, just farts here and there occasionally but thankfully doesn't ping. Makes a claimed 301kw on the Pitlane dyno at 15PSI.

Nah not really mate. Just do the usual, drive it for a bit then chuck it on CarSales and find another one haha!

Looks pretty nice, and a steal for the price! BA's are so cheap these days.. awesome to buy one but not so great if i ever want to sell mine.

I bought a BF Ghia one when they were on sale on eBay from Roman Auto-Tek. They're still available at $190+ postage. They look good, the non leather parts at top and bottom feel good and break it up a bit. I'll get some pics when I clean it up again and the weather's good.

Justin, not up yet but will be soon haha.

BASI XT, as in its got lots of bass and it's a XT.

Cool car though, I'd love to get one with similar mods/options.
