eb xr6 power window conversion

Postby dannysebxr6 » August 16th, 2011, 10:12 am

Hi all,
I have 92 eb xr6 and want to convert it to power windows
Does the xr6 have the wiring already? It doesn't have cruise so I'm thinking id net the whole wiring and components.
Is this right? Could anyone assist would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yep I think the wiring is only there if you have cruise. It's not that hard to run the wires, or you can get an entire loom from a car with cruise.

Hi Guys,

Ive recently been doing my stereo system in my car and i will be installing power windows.
while i was installing my system i found a plug tucked away under the b pillar.
Its a 3 pin plug in the area for the door loom.
Is this plug possibly the wiring for power window conversion??

Regards

No idea. Could possibly be it, can you plug a window loom & motor into it to test?
