Would you prefer performance mods, or aesthetics?

Personally I'd freshen up the interior a bit. Saying that though, it already looks spotless. Nice ride, seven thumbs up.

You'd be surprised. Second hand there are quite a few 17" packages that pop up for 700-900 with half good tyres. Keep your eye on ebay and the for sale sections of various forums and you should find a nice set. Hell, my set of (5) rims were only $850 :)

There's a quick fix to your T-bar. Unscrew the knob so that it sits correctly, then tighten the nut underneath the knob. It'll come up the shaft & hold the knob in place. Giggidy.

That's fkn clean for $700 mate. Yeah, 17s + rubber do pop up regularly, keep in mind that it won't look as lowered as it does with the 15s (some kind of visual trickery).

Someone on here/AFF/fordmods (can't remember?) was selling a complete manual conversion setup from an EF I think? Might be worth checking out, & it won't root you with being on your P's.

Agreed, that's a very nice car, you should be happy with it.

As for spending your $700, I would deffinatly be putting $400 of it towards Pacemaker extractors if you don'y already have them.

Mooseman found the car for me on carsales i think,
im waiting till i get off my P's because i don't have a manual license.

As for the T-bar i had to do some adjusting and when i put it back on it went like that, but i think i will leave it because it fits my driving style and is comfy if that makes any sense.

I was thinking of a set of AU2 XR rims don't know how much they go for but i will keep my eye out for a set.

Round these parts, if you have had your P's for 6 months, you can just go buy a new licence that has no conditions other than P-plate driver (i.e no auto/manual restrictions)

But that's ACT - P-platers aren't considered a pest here for the moment.

aha was joking before.. I'm at a similar stage to you although I've got an EA with already a 5 spd. Aside from it already being lowered, ftr rims, tint, exhaust, stereo etc, i have written out a list that I keep adding to when I get new ideas. Bear in mind this is only cosmetic, mechanical I will do later on (boosted AU xr6 engine :):):):):)).

MODS FOR FALCON

neon lights under dash and read seats
respray of boot panel
respray of door handles
LPG with $2000 government rebate - find out info
Ghia interior trim - door panels
chrome pedals
wooden steering wheel
floor mats
seat covers
dice
fors sticker for boot glass
debadge
new front emblem - tickford?
speaker grills

also if you intend to keep her for a good while, might be sensible to get the rust all out... I've got a little, not too much though, and will remove it when she gets a respray.

XF/EA MPI intake tube? Would cost about $5 from wreakers and are bigger than the ordinary EB-ED ones. Plus i notice those cruise buttons are a little faded- rub some olive oil on 'em to bring back in black.
