Hey guys, My names Mitch and heres my XC and XF

Postby 250xflo » September 20th, 2011, 1:23 am

G'day guys,

My names Mitch, I'm 18, I live in Macclesfield (near Emerald in VIC), I've been a member of Xfalcon for a few years now and I have a few mates on boosted too, I though I might check out the site,

I've owned a few car but my current cars are a '78 Ford XC Fairmont which set me back $6,000, which my missus bought off a one owner old man, she had a little bingle nothing big (just need the frh guard straightened and a new bonnet), shes really clean, 4.1, 3 speed auto, real genuin car, I have put a 2 1/4 exhaust on, supers in the front and waiting on blocks to lower the back, not boosted.... for now, I plan to wack a snail on the side and leave her lookin real sleeper, just slamed on the standard hubcaps, sunvisor, and venitians.

My daily is a 87 XF spack which was bought off the daughter of the origional owner, efi 4.1, T5, no rust and factory 4WD height set me back $600 :( , I have put lowered pedders springs and shocks in the back inc mega towers, have the spring for the front, just a pain to get the stocko ones out, currenty bidding on a 2.5" exhaust with extractor and she is also at LPGAS getting gas fitted, I have just cleaned up my snowflakes and put them on so I'll post newer pics soon.

Anyway love the site, hope you like my rides!

Cheers, Mitch!

they are some pretty sweet rides mate, makes me miss my XF. If you are putting the snowflakes on the XF, what are you doing with the ED XR6 wheels?

Thanks guys! Dunno if I'm gonna keep em or not I was thinking of selling em, what would you guys say the wheels are worth, they have two good front tyres 80-90% tread and one good back 70% tread, other tyre is buggered, wheels themselves are in real good nick!

Just got a call back from mark at lpgas in lilydale, the gas tank need a new float level and something else to pass the test so thats come to $1675 plus leads, also he found that the intake must have been off at one stage as thEre is a wire crushed between the intake and head so Ive got him to finish the installation then I'll fix the wire myself coz they want 200-300 to do it, then I'll take it back for a tune, atleast that explains why she would idle at 1500 and randomly bog,
