200sx - Boosted falcon

Postby stevem » January 29th, 2008, 8:06 am

Hi guys my name is Steve im 22 and had an ED Futura as my first car @ 18 was originally burgundy,
I did white trim and had it painted harlequin and started to get info to dummy up twin turbos from there...
Being a very long and slow project i lost interest and never finished it. A couple of years later i completed the 200SX
in the attached picture.... Ne hows, never finishing my first car love is a building frustration with in and im about to
start the venture into building a turbo ef or el xr6 streeter to complete my empty spot from never completing my first ford.
Any suggestions, comments or feedback would be great... Image

Destroyed? are you fkn serious?

Looks good man, you've done a good job with it! This EF should be pretty good when it's done if the S15 is anything to go by.

I'm actually looking at selling the 200 theres a few pics of trim and engine bay here...

http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/pr ... &trecs=135

every time i get close to selling it i get cold feet and push the buyer a way so ill probably end up with the new turbo ford and this sitting side by side in the garage

Those wheels are huge. Paint is pretty fancy too.

I'm with you on this one, I reckon they look better JDM style, rather than Autosalon-spec.

Each to their own tho- still impressive either way and I'm sure he has heard comments like that before.

BTW, thats a massive turbo for a 2L engine, does it spool? ;)

Trying to answer every one questions all in one go........ :D Haha turbo is quite big but definately spools, car makes just under 300kw @ the wheels, yes the car was featured front cover over Feb Fast Fours last year and im definately not selling it to fund the e-series.... theres every chance ill end up keeping both. The 200 build took roughly a year but ive had the car for about 2 and a half years now. Cant wait to get started on the boosted XR....
