BA XR6 ute rear springs into ED wagon

Hey guys,

offered a pair of these by a mate who no longer owns his old BA xr6 ute will they be of any benefit to my ED wagon? i was under the impression that the leaf rear ends were all the same from EA-BF???

Shocks bolt up different but im unsure if it will work

No idea about BA. But I know my mate couldn't fit ea-el wagon leaf springs in his xg ute.

XG/XH utes still use XD ute chassis, just with different front panels...wagons are different I believe but not 100% sure on that

Wagons are pretty much the same as sedans except for the obvious leaf sprung rear. As far as I'm aware at least.

But yeah sorry can't help with the BA leaves.

Yep, the leaf springs will fit, same for all Falcon utes/wagons. Just use your plates for shocks to mount to as the BA ones will be different as stated.

ah ok then i thought the looked the same... and they are free and XR6 are meant to be a "sporty" ride so win on all accounts i guess.

I thought they did fit up. I had an EA Wagon years ago, a guy at Pedders fitted BA Leafs to his E series wagon. I didnt end up doing it tho. I think that spring rates or something are much better then ealier ones.
Unsure if they were ute or wagon leafs tho.
Can you check the part numbers with Ford or pedders or someone?

I put BF/FG ute leafs in both my wagons (BA&BF) and all i had to do is get a narrower front bush to suit the wagon.
I know we're not talking the same model but just something to look out for.
