Sup from NZ

Postby buriedalive » November 2nd, 2011, 6:39 am

Been a lurker for a couple of weeks now waiting to get a manual XR6. Finally bought one last night so just waiting on delivery.

Will be a slow build, just a tidy up at this stage. Throw on some superlows, 19's, lose the rear wing and update the stereo but I do already have a T04Z ready to go on ;-)

Have previously had a couple of Navara's, 180B SSS's, SR20VE Primera Wagon, SR20DET W11 Avenir, RB26 Stagea, Murano etc. Currently have a 1JZ powered L200 & a VG Safari 318 in the garage

Will get some more pics when it gets here

Its a 1991 S/C. Runs a T04Z backed up with a C4. This is how it looked when I got it

Was a standard RS4 when I got it (25DET/Auto/4WD). Converted it to manual first, then did the full 26DETT conversion & R33 GTR box later on. 260RS front bumper & R34 GTR 18's

Thanks :) I'm in the Waikato, well Hamilton more specifically

Always been a bit of a Ford fan & loved reading about Boosted Falcons in Zoom Magazine ever since they did that TT XG Ute years ago with twin T28's. Have only ever seen one Pre-BA Turbo Falcon (EB with a GT bodykit from memory) here in NZ & the country is just flooded with Evo's, WRX's, Skylines & Silvia's, thought a Turbo Falcon would be a bit different :D

Arrives today!!! Pretty amped about it :D I'd be keen to check out your setup next time I'm in Vegas, get some ideas & have a look at your manifold. Not really keen to splash out on a Snort Manifold at the moment
