ebII interior swap

Postby dannysebxr6 » November 22nd, 2011, 7:29 pm

Hi guys,
im currently in the middle of doing power window conversion in my EBII as ive got the body loom and door looms from a ed ghia.
i have a few questions if anyone can help.
1) because my car doesnt have ABS but the EDghia loom does will my car still work properly even if i dont plug in the ABS plugs?
2) while i removed my dash for trim swap decided i might try and do climate control conversion. but noticed my heater box doesnt have a big enough hole to hold the fan speed motor. has anyone done this conversion? and has anyone had any issues with it?
3) while i was doing power window conversion i thought it might be easier to swap the dash over as well as my wiring was everywhere! but i realised the EDghia dash has smartlock but my car doesnt will this still be ok?

Any feedback or help would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks
Daniel

Thanks josh.

Also I've been following the climate control conversion from fordmods and it tells me there's a air temp sensor near the airintake. I've looked but don't see anything. Does anyone know where its located and what it looks like?

Thanks
Daniel

The ambient sensor? It should be hidden underneath the top part of the radiator support, pretty close to the bonnet latch. It should have 2 parts. A short little piece, and a longer one next to it.
