CHRIS'S ED FUTURA NOW EF WAGON

Hi all my name is Chris and I'm from Mill Park Victoria

This is my 1994 ED Futura I payed $4000 for her 4 years ago and allot has change since
I started with 18" wheels and soon followed an engine upgrade to a EL Tickford 4lt and auto,
then came a interior upgrade EL Faimont Ghia door trims and ED Faimont Ghia leather / valour seats and a EL parcel shelf.
Outside I added EL mirrors and handles, a Fairmont garnish at the rear, and XR6 headlights on the front.
Also recently I have converted her to 5 speed manual and installed a 3.45 LSD

Does any one know where I can get one from and how much one is?

I think it would look alright with a BA bulge on my my bonnet :cool:

A bloke on here just got one from a bloke named paul madderen. Is that who you tried.
He reckoned he was ok and was between 200-300 buck delivered to melbourne.
But I have heard he can be hard to get in touch with

You guys are not going to believe this, just around the corner from where I live is a ED Futura that is identical to the way my car looked when I bought my ED Futura it's even the same colour only one thing was different it has a factory fitted boot lip wing and it's up for sale so I went and knocked on the door and asked to see the owner of the car I asked him if he would allow me to swap my boot lid with his boot lid :beg:

much to my surprise he said yes :yahoo:

so now I have a lip wing on my car but all the clear has peeled of the spoiler so today me and my mate went to paint mobile and got my colour matched into pressure pack spray can and also a can of clear and some plastic primer anyway here are some pics of it being painted

And now I'm starting on painting mirrors

I'll post some more pics of mirrors when I get more paint in the morning as I used the first can on the lip wing

Now I want to paint the top of the bars and the body moulds but I'm unsure about leaving the red stripe or changing it to black stripe or a chrome stripe
what do guys think I should do?

Black stripe, since the car has little chrome on it.

After going through 3 radiators in 2011 :banghead:

I decided to buy a full alloy radiator cost me $180 with 12 months warranty of ebay. This one had better not leak. Here is a picture of it very shiny

Seen your futura heaps even driven past couple
Of times wishing mine looked like yours.
I've got a cardinal red eb with boot lip and ba xr6 17" on it.
Nice work with the boot spoiler, good score there!
